Count every visitor. Control every entrance. Even underground.
A cave has one entrance, poor connectivity and a strict capacity limit set by safety regulations. A castle has three gates, seasonal staff and tourists who speak six languages. A museum has a main entrance, a group entrance and a gift shop exit that sometimes becomes an entrance. Every scenario is different. Our access control handles all of them on the same platform: timed-entry enforcement, people counting with capacity alerts, offline operation where there is no signal, and paid access through API-connected hardware for extras such as parking and toilets.

Ticket scanning app
The mojekarte ticket scanning app runs on any Android phone (6.0 or newer) and on a dedicated professional handheld terminal. It checks a ticket in under 0.33 seconds, even without an internet connection.
No training is needed: the steward points the device at the QR code and the app answers instantly with a large green or red full-screen response. The same ticket scanning app runs at festivals (Tolminator, Punk Rock Holiday), at sports clubs (NK Maribor, NK Celje) and at cultural institutions (Cankarjev dom, SNG Maribor), on more than 400 professional handheld terminals in daily use.
Start today, no equipment purchase
Install the ticket scanning app on an ordinary Android phone with a camera and start scanning today. Ideal for smaller events, extra gates or a backup.
Upgrade to professional speed
For high volumes, choose a dedicated professional handheld terminal with a laser scanner and NFC. More than 400 are in daily use. Cominfo, Skidata and Axess turnstiles connect when you need them.
Supported hardware & partners
Cominfo
Turnstiles and paid accessCominfo builds speedgates, tripod turnstiles and full-height gates, installed across Europe. A direct API integration also handles paid access points such as toilets, parking and premium zones.
Skidata
Stadiums and large venuesHigh-throughput turnstile arrays for venues with a capacity of more than 50,000. Proven at FK Crvena zvezda, where 54 turnstiles serve 55,500 seats. Built for stadium conditions.
Axess
Attractions and tourismAccess control hardware for ski resorts, theme parks and large attractions. It reads RFID and barcodes, and it is proven in high-volume tourism environments across Europe.
Third-party low-cost
Small venues and budgetsLow-cost USB and Bluetooth barcode readers and generic QR scanners. They work with the mojekarte platform out of the box, and they are enough for most small and mid-sized venues.
mojekarte Mobile App
Any phone, no hardwareTurn any Android phone into an access control device. The camera scans QR codes and barcodes. It works fully offline and syncs automatically when the connection returns. No specialised hardware needed.
Custom API
Any hardwareA full REST API for integrating any third-party access control hardware. Real-time ticket checking, two-way status sync and webhook support. Connect any gate, turnstile or reader.
A dedicated professional device or your phone
The same app runs on two kinds of device. For high volumes the fastest choice is a dedicated professional handheld device, built specifically for continuous scanning. For smaller events, extra gates or a backup, the same app also runs on an ordinary Android phone using the camera. One technology, two forms, the same reliability.
Our professional handheld terminals are specialized Android devices with an integrated laser scanner, RFID antenna, and ergonomic gun grip. Scanning is instant, even in poor lighting. The grip reduces fatigue during long shifts. RFID support enables validation of wristbands, membership cards, and contactless tickets without a separate device.
More than 400 of these terminals are in daily production use at venues across the region today. Not a prototype, but a field-proven workhorse that keeps up with the busiest events.

Why it matters
Timed-entry gate enforcement
Visitors booked for 10:00 cannot enter at 9:30. The scanner checks the time slot and the ticket, and opens the gate only within the allowed window.
People counting with capacity alerts
A real-time visitor count per zone. When a cave reaches 85% of capacity, the dashboard raises an alert. When it reaches 100%, the entrance gates stop admitting visitors.
Offline operation
Caves, hilltop castles, remote parks. No Wi-Fi, no mobile signal. Our mobile app checks tickets offline against a locally synced database, and the counts sync when the connection returns.
Paid access via API
The Cominfo integration covers paid extras. Visitors pay for toilet access, premium parking or a guided tour add-on directly through the platform, via API-connected hardware.
Multi-entrance synchronisation
Main gate, group entrance, VIP route. All are connected to the same inventory. A visitor counted at gate A is counted everywhere. No double counting, no capacity confusion.
Visitor flow and scan reporting
Peak hours, average dwell time, time from entry to exit, scan speed per gate and the busiest days of the week. An entry timestamp for every visitor. Compare seasons to plan staffing and pricing.
BI analytics and AI predictions
Visitor data flows into your BI platform. The AI engine forecasts daily visitor numbers from the weather, holidays, cruise-ship schedules and historical trends. Predict peak days weeks in advance and adjust staffing, pricing and time-slot availability automatically.
"We don't sell turnstiles. We make every turnstile, scanner, and phone work as one system. That's the difference."
How it works
Connect
A terminal or phone pairs with your organisation and event using an 8-digit code. No manual server configuration.
Scan
Professional handheld terminal, built-in camera or NFC. Result in under 0.33 seconds.
Monitor
Entries, occupancy and errors, live in the web application. Reports and CSV export after the event.

Access control FAQ
What equipment do I need for ticket scanning?
No special equipment is needed to start: an ordinary Android phone (6.0 or newer) with a camera is enough. For high volumes we recommend a dedicated professional handheld terminal with a laser scanner and NFC, the fastest option. Cominfo, Skidata and Axess turnstiles are also supported.
Does access control work without the internet?
Yes. The app automatically switches to offline mode, checks tickets against a local database on the device and records every pass. Once the connection is back, the records are transferred to the server automatically and without duplication.
How fast is ticket scanning?
The result is displayed in under 0.33 seconds. The device is immediately ready for the next scan, so a single person at the gate comfortably handles a continuous queue. In production we have measured up to 50 visitors per minute on a single terminal and up to 12,000 visitors in a single hour at an event.
Does it work for general admission (no assigned seats)?
Yes. The app handles seated events and entry without numbered seats equally well. For general admission it shows the ticket type and the status without a seat, and the check is just as fast.
Can I check a ticket on exit and re-entry?
Yes. The app supports entry and exit directions and single-pass transitions, detects wrong-way movement and allows re-entry on the same ticket.
What does the steward see on scan?
A full-screen tick or cross in the status colour (colours are configurable), the event name, section and ticket type, plus the seat for seated events, and any special status (for example a senior ticket), with sound and vibration.
Can I monitor attendance live?
Yes. The web application shows entries by minute and by terminal, errors and cumulative occupancy live. Different access levels give management, organisers and security staff each their own view. Reports and export are available after the event.
Do you support multiple gates and multiple organisations?
Yes. Any number of terminals and gates per event. A single device can hold profiles for several organisations and switch between them in seconds.
